Bachelor of Sports Management is a three (3) year undergraduate program in sports. Basically, sports management is the study of sports management and administration. The degree is a bachelor level program available for the candidates or students who have completed 12th. Bachelor’s degree in sport management offer students or candidates exposure to the different dimensions of sport as a business. The course describes the study of the planning, supervision and execution of sports-related events and activities on national and international grounds. The curriculum of Bachelors of Sports Management covers both theoretical and practical topics. The theoretical learning includes classroom lectures, presentations, case studies, and guest lectures. The practical part of the program includes project work where the students will provide a report after researching about a sport.
Some of the main objectives of the program are to show students the path for career in sports, to help them polish their skills in the chosen field and to help them become professional sports managers from a business perspective.
Bachelor In Sports Management Eligibility Criteria:
The minimum criteria for Bachelor In Sports Management (BSM) depends upon the college or university the candidate is going to choose for his/her admission. Candidate will have to meet all the necessary admission requirements decided by the college before filling out application form. The minimum eligibility for BSM program are given below:
- Candidates who are waiting for their 12th result may also apply for the BSM program. Those candidates will have to submit their mark sheet on or before the last date.
- Candidates applying for BSM program must have completed 12th examination with a minimum percentage of 50% in arts stream.
